Part of a series created to give players a good grounding in standard session sets. Learning these tunes will be enough for you to sit in on many sessions around the world. The sets were based on sessions at the Comhaltas headquarters in Monkstown, Dublin. While these tunes are meant to played in sets (and can be played from the CDs a set at a time), the CD tracks are also divided at the boundaries of individual tunes. While this can lend a strange “suddenness” to playing isolated tracks, it greatly facilitates the player learning from the books and CDs together.
